Food is cooked to perfection!!!: I went for lunch today with a party of four, and we had two large sirloins and two chop steaks.When the food arrived it was steaming hot and the sirloins were cooked to perfection. It was one of the best midware sirloins I have ever had. So were all amazed of how the food was so good, so I personally went to go thank the cook, Alfonso. When i told him how good the food was he was very modest and polite.Since that day I have been there twice, and Alfonso keep on cooking delights. So I reccomend this place for the quality and value of food, especially when Alfonso is cooking!!

GREAT Texas Steak Joint: The casual and informal ambiance of this San Antonio eatery is classic and timeless, situated under a highway in an old wooden house. The steaks are grilled perfectly and you can't be a t bone for $11.95! Chicken fried steak here is light, almost tempura like, but filling and a great deal for $7.95. Waitstaff is efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great place to eat: Had lunch today and enjoyed the unpolished casual feel of the place. Nestled in under Hwy281 in the downtown area, the place has that atmosphere that trusts the food more than flair to draw you back, and I'd like to get back soon!
