Is there a word worse then awful? If so then I would like to use it. Man, I bought a 2007 zx10r in 07 and somehow magically owe the same exact amount as I did when I bought the sonbich. Even after all the phone calls and them telling me not to worry that this is normal and that the principle will be paid off in the 60 months stated on contract. Not even close. Now they tell me, "you know what, you should look to go with your own bank" no sh&^*, I would have done that in the first place but the morons their claimed that their financing was the best. Yeah the best at keepin you paying for life. Friendly? yes because they are theives. DON' T FINANCE with them!!! Better yet don't buy from these clowns. Any monkey can lie to you to sell you something and that's what these monkeys do. They have no clue when you confront them with a problem. They pawn you off and then tell you that's the brakes kid. Now all these ex employees are coming out talking about how bad this place is. Well, nothing like paying 7 years on a 60 month note right? Be careful. Anyone who disputes this is an employee or is in love with criminals.
Ok....if you don't want to read this...let me at least tell you if you're taking your bike in for service...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! moto shack fixed alamo cycle plex's F up's for half the price.
Last week I had them put a new tire and tube on my CR250R. I got to the track (cycle ranch) this morning rode for 5 minutes and got a flat tire. Tried to air it up, wouldn't hold. So I took it to the Moto Shack shop there at the track. I'm sitting there watching them take my tire off and what do we notice? No rim strip! This caused the spoke ends to puncture the tube. After moto shack fixed Alamo's terrible job, I got to get back on the track...thank God for Moto Shack. On my way home I called Alamo and told them they for got to put the rim strip in, the service MANAGER tells me they NEVER forget to put the rim strip??? Ummm...well GEEE? I guess someone broke in to my garage and took the rim strip off while I wasn't looking. They told me to bring it in so they could look at it. I say look at what?!?! It's already fixed. They said that I should have brought it in and there's nothing they can do. Essentially I should have left the track, drove an hour to Alamo, and sit there for 4 hours, so I could prove to them they did forget to put the rim strip in. This all not mentioning how overpriced they are. I told everyone at the track that Alamo cycle plex put the tire on, they all started laughing at me saying "you took your bike to Alamo?!" All the riders went on to say how overpriced they are and how terrible there mechanics are. Lesson learned, to bad it was an expensive one.
after talking with 2 different dealers for part on my 08 goldwing, I got hold of will at Alamo parts dept. he was very informative, friendly and even went out of his way to call me back and tell me there was additional discount after everyting was said and done. after talking with 2 dealer that had no idea what they were selling (goldwing parts? come on) it was relief to talk to someone that knew the product they sell/service. although I'm in corpus christi, I will continue my business with alamo and will recommend to will to everyone that ask me for good parts/service agent.
