User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe food was absolutely delicious. This is truly one of the whole in the wall locations that locals go to often. The prices were very reasonable with a two meat combo plate for $8. Don't let the location and building turn you away. Give it a try.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI almost decided not to write a review because it is such a nice secret. Someone took me to this place about three months ago. At first I wondered where the heck we were going. Now I am hooked. Absolutley the best BBQ in San Antonio!
I love their Tuesday and Thursday specials.
Ribs: excellent! Brisket: excellent! Homemade cabbage! Emm Umm Good!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOutstanding: Best beef ribs in the city, period. Nobody else is even close. Brisket is tender, moist, and the sauce is great. I asked once why chicken BBQ wasn't on the menu and the cook said "because I don't know how to cook chicken". Shows how particular they are about what they prepare. Homemade desserts are a plus.
