User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsPengs, is good only if you're in the area and don't wanna travel far or pay too much. Pengs is good if you really don't care about the quality of your food. Most of the dishes are obviously prepared en masse and don't have much flavor. I won't lie i still take out from there when i'm working and only have 30 min for lunch and 7 or 8 bucks in my pocket. I usually get the cashew shrimp or the lemon chicken. i don't dine in anymore. the tea tasted awful as if the container hasn't been cleaned it weeks. the glass they served it in was chipped. the fried rice is mediocre. ALTHOUGH, i must say that they do have the BEST EGG DROP SOUP I HAVE EVER TASTED. It alone is worth trying out the place. My girlfriend also says that their hot and sour soup is the best here. This is all obviously just my opinion, and there are plenty of opposing reviews, so the best thing is to just try it for yourself. its not too expensive, and if you've never been, i say give it a shot. if you don't like it, at least you'll have something to use in comparison, right?
For the record, two Chinese restaurants that i consider really good are Wok Inn off of Grissom Rd. and The Golden Wok off of Marbach and 410.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTammie is the best server here you must ask for her, she has great customer service skills. The owners are very nice. Its a great family oriented place to eat. We have been going here since 2006. The food is great because it is always hot and fresh. Never had a problem here!

PENG'S CHINATOWN CHINESE HAS THE MOST DELICIOUS AND AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD. I'VE BEEN GOING THERE EVER SINCE I WAS BORN. SERIOUSLY, WHEN MY PARENTS WERE DATING, AND MY MOM WAS PREGNANT WITH ME. AND EVEN NOW. I JUST WISH THEY STILL HAD BUFFET. THAT WAS THE BEST, BECAUSE YOU COULD EAT EVERYTHING FOR ONE LOW PRICE. NOW THE PRICE IS STILL LOW AND THE FOOD IS JUST DELICIOUS!-KRISTINA

Why would you expect them to let you pay the equivalent of $1 a plate? There's no way they can make any money like that. It's just like airplane seats... sometimes you just have to pay for two people. It's not fair to the rest of us.
