Company Information: A curvy design and tasty food distinguish this upscale Chinese restaurant on San Antonio's far north side. The inviting interior is dominated by buttery yellow walls with crimson and black accents and lots of Chinese prints. On any given night, you'll find families celebrating a night out, couples just in from playing tennis at the near-by country club, and singles popping in to place take-out orders. Alongside traditional Szechwan entrees, you will find more inventive dishes such as the spicy Pasta Delight, Sauteed Lamb Hunan Style, Volcano Chicken and Sausage Fried Rice as well as a good selection of steamed entrees under the "Diet Dishes" heading. At dinner, all items are offered a la carte, but the lunch crowd and early birds arriving between 5pm and 6pm can order a complete meal for $6.50-$7.50.

Horrible food. Overpriced. Bad. The service is daunting because the servers try and get you to order more. I have been brought food many times that I didn't order and they wanted me to pay for it! I didn't even touch it! A cook who left the place later told me that they made a very special "sauce" for customers who send their food back to the kitchen or cause trouble. He also said the Yakuza runs the place with an iron grip. Watch out!
The lunch speical items are average, but the dinner menu is much better. I love the sha sha shrimp and hunan shrimp and scallops. Skip the sushi, however. Service could be better, but overall still one of the better chineese restaraunts.
I love love love this place. Great food! I agree service is slow at times. But you cant beat the 1/2 price lunch specials. I for one have never seen cats and dogs running around as stated in a previous review. I am a frequent customer and never encountered rude service. I lovve their food and I think its one of the best quality chinese restaurants around town.

Bad food. Bad service. Limp egg rolls. Salty soup. Rude cooks. Filthy bathrooms. Old sushi. Here's a few rules when dining here and other such eateries. 1. Don't give your credit card until after dessert. If restaurants start acting like airliners then they better offer frequent diner upgrades. 2. Pay no attention to a Waiter's Favorite Dish. It was a sad day in America when waiters started giving orders instead of taking them. 3. Pass on the buffet. It usually consists of leftover food from the day before crafted into that special chilled beet root potato jello salad you've always wanted. Not! 4. Demand to see the chef. If the meal was great then compliment the chef. If bad, then relay your complaints directly to the chef instead of some minimum wage paid manager in a cheap suit. 5. Never order the house wine. It's usually cheap box wine watered down by the bartender's filthy tonic water dispenser. That's the rules people. Follow them and you will eat a good meal. Forget them and you will probably end up with Montezuma's Revenge and a trip to the hospital. Bon appetite!
