My husband and I used to think this was the best pizza joint in Corpus, and were willing to overlook the shabby interior and a few crumbs on the table or the fact that sometimes service was a bit slow, because the pizza was worth it. We went today for lunch and just had one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I signed up for Yahoo just to write this review. I don't know if there is a new owner or not, but the place has certainly gone WAY downhill.

Here's our experience: My husband, toddler and I went today for lunch. We picked Dentoni's hoping for a quick bite to eat in a child-friendly place. When we arrived (shorly after noon on a Friday), we were the only customers. There were four old-ish looking slices of pizza sitting under the heat lamps. I tried to order a calzone or pizza rolls, but was informed they had none available (despite the fact that they were both listed on the board as lunch specials). We were told we'd have to wait 15-20 minutes for either of those items. Because we were in a bit of a hurry, we decided to each just order a slice and a soda. I figured a slightly old slice would be okay and knew they'd add our toppings and at least reheat it.

As we waited and waited and waited, we figured they MUST have been making a fresh pizza, to accommodate us and the three other groups of folks who entered shortly after us.

Instead, after a 25-minute wait in a VERY dirty restaurant (not just crumbs, but sticky films on things . . .), our order was called out. We each were given an old slice of pizza, with our requested topping and the tiniest, teeniest bit of "fresh" cheese added. The pizza was nasty and I could only force down one bite.

I wouldn't even feed my kid the pizza, and I ended up pitching it. HORRIBLE!! We will not go back!

Save yourself some money, time, and frustration. Don't go.

Okay, Great pizza (well used to be), terrible location and OMG, dont ask them to deliver! Order your food a day in advance. we've ordered delivery @ 11am & we'd be calling at 2pm wondering where its at...when they've been telling us for the past hour and a half that its on its way!!

MAN THAT PLACE IS NOT THE SAME WITHOUT KYLE. THAT DUDE CAN MAKE A PIZZA BETTER THEN ANYONE I KNOW. EVERYONE IS TRYING TRYING TO COPY HIS FLAVOR FROM ALL OVER CORPUS TO CORPORATE. PIZZA HUT NEEDS TO KNOW THAT KYLES PIZZA ROLLS WHERE AROUND BEFORE AND WILL ALWAYS TASTES THE SAME. AS FAR AS STATE PIZZA, B AND J'S AND THE OTHER WACK IMITATIONS GO THEY CAN FIGHT FOR SECOND PLACE. NO ONE CAN BEAT KYLE PARKER AT MAKING THE BEST FREAKIN PIZZAS AND ROLLS AND CALZONES THIS SIDE OF THE MISSISSIPPI. YOU CAN FIND HIS GREAT TASTING FOOD AT FORMAGGIOS ON LEOPARD AND MCKINSEY

Kyle is the reason this place took a dump!! I was going there before he had part in it. Back when Tom Foolery's was still around and downtown was the place to be on WED nights. Dentoni's was awesome back then and could be today if there was a good leader on the crew. But when this 'Kyle' took part in it he let it go down hill buy having such a bad attitude with staff and customers. Kyle is a dipsh$t.
