The racetrack is out of business. No food there. Try San Antonio if you want food and racing.

Good place to lay a few bets: I hadn't been to the dog track since it opened up about what 15 years ago? Well, it's a good place to kill time and get entertained for a few dollars. The place is huge and you can place minimum bets of two dollars and sip on a beer for a few hours and still come out a winner for little money. If you lose a $10, what the heck, it beats going to the movies. I'm still exploring the place. I've gotta check out their restaurant. Later

Kids and Parents had a blast: Wife and I took our son (9) and daughter (4) to the race track on a Friday night, and we all had a blast. Wasn't that crowded, they had a nice buffet going in the club house section where you had to pay a dollar for entrance. We opted for the hamburger/hotdog stands - tasted like hamburgers/hotdogs you would get at a racetrack. Admittedly by the 6th or 7th race the youngest started getting tired, but we'd go back on our next trip to CC.
