    Came down from dfw area to stay in Rockport and to try this restaurant. It was boarded up and for sale. I went down to Alice Fayes one night and Charlotte Plummers the next and was not disappointed.

    Yesterday, grilled drum and chicken cob salad. Superbly plated, cooked to perfection, service great and more than reasonably priced

    I love this place and eat there for lunch at least once a week and have never had bad food. Their luncheons are very reasonably priced although the evening meals are a bit more expensive, but worth it. Chef James is very creative and they have a great wine list and good service. Whenever we have people that come in from out of town, we always take them to Hemingway's!
