User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsYuck! I'm from L.A and this place is far from calling itself Mexican Food. I went to visit my in-laws and they where really hyped about this restaurant. So I thought we would have a great meal and family time. But I was wrong. First of all the wait was rediculous. The food was disgusting (huge greassy servings) and the service was poor. I guess I should give Kiko's a break because Mexican food from Los Angeles is completely different than Tex-Mex. Maybe if places like Kiko's closed down there wouldn't be such a big problem with obesity in Corpus. Overall, I would never go back. I'm happier eating Whataburger everyday while I visit my family.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis place is for pigs, that is not mexican food, that is for hungry people who don't care about the taste and the quality. They gave us a boiled pieces of chicken for fajitas and row pepper and onion instead of grilled.
They charged for the sour cream 2 bucks....that the way they cook fajitas there. Drinks were good. Summary: the worst food ever ( I can not call that mexican, because I like mexican food and that experience was a shame for mexican kitchen). Blame management: they see only $ bills in their eyes

I doubt that obesity is caused by the restaurants in Corpus Christi, as there are obese people in LA too. As well as the rest of the USA. Unless they are all flying in food daily from Corpus, you would need to attribute the obesity issue to more than restaurants. Lack of exercise, education, environment, genes, etc. But I suppose you probably know that.
