   Dr. Gowen is a great Dr., very caring. All her staff are very nice and perfersonnal. She has been my Dr for two pregnancies and will be my Dr again on my third one pretty soon. I really recommend her to all my friends.

   I don't know how anyone could like Dr. Gowen. She is cold person. My wife and I were having our first baby and she was not helpful at all. Our first meeting was over in 5 minutes. We told her we were first time parents and she did not give us any information as to what we should expect in the following months. Her staff is also rude. My wife was getting out work late one time and called in ahead of time to let them know she was going to be late. The staff said ok no problem. My wife actually got their on time and the staff told her Dr. Gowen could not wait so she left. She asked them why they did not tell her that on the phone so she would have not wasted her time coming over. The staff responded what do you want us to do? We of course changed doctors after that. The doctor nor the staff cared if we stayed or left.

   Dr. Gowen was my Dr. for my first three pregnancies and now for my fourth. I really like her. I can see how she can go a bit too fast for first time parents. I personally like her speed because it gets you in and out faster, which I need since I have three other kids. She is friendly and will stay with you longer if you need her to answer questions BUT you pretty much have to tell her to hold on, I need to talk to you longer! Regardless, she is an excellent OB/GYN and that is what matters to me.
