I went there a couple of months ago with my husband and a friend of ours. The service is excellent. I don't remember the name of what we ordered, but it was very good. I have been there three times and every time I go, I order the same thing. The food is prepared right before your eyes and there is people around the table that you probably don't even know. At first, it can be uneasy, but once you see the guy cooking, you forget about the rest of the world. It is pretty fun watching the guy cook and trying to get people to catch a shrimp with their mouth only! I find it somewhat fancy, but you don't have to go all dressed up. I really love the combination of the meats with the veggies and the rice is so good. They give you some dipping sauce for the meat. The salad is very good and the soup has an excellent flavor. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

unique dinning experience: pros - one of the few unique restruants in rio grand valley, price is reasonable for what you get
cons - ambiance is subpar compare to other resturants

The Phenomenal Essence of Shogun: Spectacular environment. Friendly and kind service... fantastic chefs and performance! The food is inevitably remarkable in aroma and flavors. The waitstaff and quick and courteous and the chefs compliment the meal with their fantastic work of art in cooking your meal right in front of you! What fun and a pleasure it is to return again and again to this magnificent restaurant! I recommend Shogun to all!
