The closing time is rather early (8pm), even for a Sunday evening. The Fahitas weren't good at all, but the tacos were nice. The kids meal is pretty sumptuous. Frozen margarita and fresh lemonade were refreshing. Ambience is nice for casual dining & for families. We went there because of the great reviews. Would rate it a good, considering everything.

Antonio's is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. 5-Star rating in our book. Very tasty, very reasonable, very clean, and the service was superb! Will defintely go back to Antonio's when in Brownsville. It is a MUST!

Antonios is one of the best restaurants in Brownsville, TX. I wouldn't say it's authentic Mexican food, because it's definitely not but it's the best tasting Tex-Mex cuisine restaurant in the area. I do recommend it, but I also have to say that if you really want Mexican food, you won't find it anywhere in Brownsville, TX...You would have to cross the bridge to Mexico.
