I would not reccomend buying a New or used car from this dealership. I bought a used certified Toyota and had problems right away. The car had a mecanical problem while in Mcallen so i took it in to a toyota dealership in there. I was told it was a low transmission fluid in the transmission. I told them they had just certified it weeks ago at Cardenas Toyota when i bought it and he said he just needed to fill it. I tried to call the General manager at Cardenas Toyota in Harlingen to advise him of the problem and left messages for him to call me back because he was never available.I even spoke to his receptionist who told me she would make sure he got it. It has been over one week and he has yet to return my call.Stay away from this dealership. I recieved excellent service at Frank Smith Toyota in Mcallen. I will do all my future bussines there.

I bought a Toyota about a year ago and had a very bad experience with this dealership. I would never buy there again and I will tell you why.

This dealership has finance sellers that will not listen to anything you say or ask but try to sell you junk items for the car you are trying to buy. Example Chip insurance for the windows. (What a scam) Undercoat, get real. Oh and the real clincher is the old profit maker Doc Fees. What a crock. Maybe for the buyer that knows nothing about the car buying process this scam works, we walked out. The manager ran out and did away with all the add-on junk and lower our rate of interest and with no add-ons at all. Yet he tried to tell us that the finance guy was just doing his job. My retort to him if he was doing his job he would have listened to us before we walked out. I have waited a year to write this so that it wouldn't be from any anger. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF. I have mentioned only a few of the problems with this dealership they have many more ways to ring out the the most dollars from every customer. It isn't crooked but it is so close I can not say enough about the bad treatment we received.
