    Garza's Cafe is not fast food, everything is homemade, fresh and some of the best food I've eaten. When in the lower Rio Grande Valley I try to eat there at least once a week. Living 1,600 miles north of San Juan, I don't get there as often as I'd like. I'd recommend the nachos and the combo plate. My family have been regulars at Garza's since the mid 1970's.

    Best Enchiladas: Garza's Cafe has the best enchiladas to be found ANYWHERE! Their flour tortillas, corn tortillas, rice, beans, and ALL of their food is awesome. I no longer live in San Juan, but my family and I bring their enchiladas back to Denver whenever we visit there. Hats off to Alicia and Laurie for continuing the wonderful family tradition of their tasty little landmark.
