The Theater itself is wonderful. Nice seating, comfortable. We saw Little Shop of Horrors and it was...well the theater itself is wonderful. The male leads couldn't sing in tune or with much force which is a problem when your trying to enjoy a musical. Especially when of the five main characters four are male. Also one of the actors had to play five or so different parts each with an equally bad accent. Audrey was played well and the chorus girls were fine although they kept getting out of sync with some of there movements. Would try another musical there if we have the chance.
I have been to the Theater a couple of times and have really enjoyed the productions. I have only gone to comedies- Lend me a Tenor, etc. and my husband and I laughed out loud many times.
Review of the Play "Meet me in St. Louis" Sat11/25: The girl who played Esther Smith was spectacular. Rose Smith was also pretty good. The theater itself and the sets were top notch. Unfortunately, the rest of the play was terrible. Clearly this was the director's fault. At the beginning she told us that she had so many talented actors that she had two complete casts. I think that she might have had enough for one good/OK cast. As her introduction indicated, the director was overly interested in the set. I would have traded all of the stage pieces for good direction. Please focus on the direction and forget about all of the hardware.
