User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI took a saturday evening to drive to Llano to try this place. Overall is was terrible. I asked for a cold mug for my beer and I was served a plastic glass. The bread was awful. Hard and no taste. We had the "gator toes" to start, and they were served over a bed of cold, hard fries. The salad was the only redeeming factor. I had the fried shrimp and catfish. There were 4 very small shrimp and two large pieces of overcooked fish. My wife ordered the bowl of gumbo, and it had only 2 shrimp, 1 crawfish tail, a watery brown broth and undercooked rice.
This place is way overpriced, and the food is as bad as any I have tasted.-

Good seafood and good service, but the Chicken Fried Steak is awesome! Not cheap, but good wine and good food.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA nice place to dine at by the Llano River: Although this place is a little bit overpriced for my tatstes, for the most part, the overall food and atmosphere is wonderful. I would highly reccoment the Shrimp Caroline, I promise you won't leave there hungry.
