been so bad next day when I return with my
husband second time and wanted him to have the same meal with me
Scallops been a bad quality and not broiled they been like
a rubber taste and undercooked
but waiter offered for me additional 6 shrimp and again these undercooked scallops
And I told him about it and asked if the same chef was working that Saturday
he answered that sometimes a different chef does differently
And I saw it myself
I didn't have another problems with them but quantity the same dish for different days were different
five shrimp ans five scallops waiter told me was not true because day before they gave me 8
shrimp and 6 scallops.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBlackbeard's is the best seafood restaurant on the island! Hands down!!! We've been to SPI four times in the last 3 years and it is always the absolute best. The shrimp are the best we have ever eaten - anywhere! The food is always prepared to perfection, the service excellent, the restaurant is immaculately clean. If the locals don't think this place is fabulous, they have just gotten used to fabulous, and need to eat in other cities to go back and appreciate what they have. We are going this weekend and cannot wait! Thank you Bud & Margaret for introducing us to this restaurant from heaven!

I wasn't to thrilled with Blackbeards. I anticipated the seafood would be "out of this world" but it was rather bland. Sadly to say Red Lobster in my opinion has better seafood than Blackbeards.
