Food is always good, fresh and service is great.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe showed up on Monday, about 2:00,and were impressed by the decour. The four of us shared the fried veggie appetiser, the entree I had was chicken fried steak. Iwill never order the large again-two steaks, about paper plate size,nice crisp crust, gravy on the side.I brought the second one home and in the morning we will have chicken fried steak, gravy, and bisquets for breakfast. My wife had chicken fried chicken, the other couple had chicken livers, and a cheeseburger. We all liked our veggies that came with the meal; we shared our pies for dessert with each other,and they were absolutely perfect.
We picked up the menu for Thanksgiving, and plan to eat there instead of going to Houston. This place has been a restaurant since 1910, and their experiance really shows.
If you are on the road between Austin and Houston, and you need to eat, stop here and you won't regret it

This is a great place to take your family to eat. The service is always promt and of course prsented with a smile. The spacing of it,s tables provides for comfi atmosphere. There,s even a smoking section that does not intrude own other guest. Last but not the least , the food is to die for. You got to try this place you,ll love it.
