Very nice post office, and the people are very friendly. We have had no problems with out mail. I do however have a problem with the usps website. This post office does indeed need more customer service folks standing behind the counters, but the website shows no openings.. I sure don't want to get sucked into one of the many usps exam scams. I just want to get the exam study guide..

Our mail is being tampered with. Packages and large envelopes show up with items missing. Most recently, photos of my son, candy and 3 new sleepers for my daughter. It isn't as if the packages are damaged at all. Someone clearly opens the package, steals stuff and reseals it. It is incredibly disturbing. I want a new mail carrier assigned to my route, but I can't even get anyone to speak to me about it. It is a FEDERAL OFFENSE for a reason people! Disgusting.

There are ways of reporting these matters. If you can't get anybody local to investigate these matters, report it through the Postal Inspection service. There is an 800 number in the phone book. The post office doesn't assign carriers to routes. The routes are posted for bid and they are awarded to the carriers according to seniority. If it's found that a carrier has been tampering with the mail, they will be removed and the route will be posted for bid.
