User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFood is excellent! I eat there on a regular basis, their margaritas and Mexican martinis are awesome. Their waitstaff are very well trained and show great customer service skills. If you have to wait for a table it is well worth it.

you could go to a local grocery store and buy a few canned goods and duplicate their entire menu. The worst food ever.I love a good tortilla,but they don't have real ones. Just whatever the truck brings.everything is gross, nothing homemade about this joint.

I have eaten at the Tamale King many times. Food has always been good. The service is OK. The waiters try to remember everything you order with out writing it down. Quite often, they forget something. One piece of advice, don't order a top shelf margarita. The waiter asked what kind of tequila I wanted but failed to tell me that there was an extra charge for it. $7.25 to be exact. The margarita ended up costing $17.95!!!!! I drink lots of margaritas and it definitely wasn't worth that! Won't be going back. Found a better and cheaper place in Liberty Hill, Jardin Corona. Top shelf grande margaritas with Patron are $8.50 and well worth it. The food and service is excellent.

if I bought quality canned goods it would be much better than the slop I was served.
I eat there often and never have I tasted anything canned and the tortillas are obviously handmade and fresh.
you must work there, cuz the food is terrible
