User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsJust returned from City Market, Luling, TX today and will not return. First was subjected to a room filled w/b-b-q smoke meat. The butchers were not friendly & did not offer much information. Meat was paid for here. By the time you're out of the "smoke filled room" your eyes are burning & your clothes are filled w/b-b-q smoke smell. Then had to go to another counter & pay again for the sides & drinks. Again, servers were not helpful, rather surley in nature & could care less if they had tourist there. Sausage was terrible, brisket dry, ribs were the best of 3 meats. Potato salad was not good either. A big disappointment...And to think we drove from Cibolo, just to get lunch!!! Not again.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHigh Priced and greasy brisket, rids were dry and so was the sausage, every side order was nit picked to get as much money out of you as they can... sad, I expected much better from the reviews. Coopers in New Braunfels beats this dump hands down, and at least they give a side of beans, bread and trimmings.

This is the best link sausage and best ribs in the whole USA! I lived in Houston for many years, and enjoyed their fine food every time I was anywhere close. Now, I'm in Alaska, and I pay people to bring it to me when they're visiting. You won't find anything better, anywhere, by any name. Nothing beats a link sandwich with a Big Red on a hot, Texas summer day.

Hey John, Are you kin to the Coopers or what? I live in Seguin which is about equal distance to Luling and New Braunfels andI have been to both places more than once and I wouldn't even think twice about where to eat at if I had my choice, Luling is #1 always. Give them another try sometime because they are better and a lot cheaper than Coopers in my book!
