I was very impressed with the food here. We are rather picky about our seafood expecially crab. I must admit, this is one of three restaraunts we've found in the entire Austin area that we would frequent for seafood. Impressive. BUT RESERVE AHEAD!

Great food: We visited the Austin location of Gumbos and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. WHile they were out of a few main items they clearly made up for it. The salmon rockefeller was excellent. The food was priced right but sides are ala carte (still reasonable). The house merlot was a tad expensive at $8.50 a glass, but we would still return.

    Vallet is $7 on weekends.

Yummy Food, Great Place, Cant wait to go back: I would have to say I have a new favorite restaurant in Round Rock, Gumbos. Excellent!! The food is great. We went on a Friday night about 7:30, there was a 45-60 minute wait, but we sat out in the patio listening to Jazz and ordered drinks and an appetizer, (Shrimp Robert, very good) time flew, I believe it was more of a 30 - 40 minute wait. Sitting outside was a treat, you wont mind at all. For Dinner I ordered Beef Tenderloin & Shrimp on Cheese Filled Tortolini, Yummy, my hubby had Shrimp & Crawfish on pasta with the bacon garlic sauce, he thought it was Yummy too. All I have to say is Excellent Food and Excellent Service. With drinks, appetizer and dinner we spent about $60. We were to stuffed to try dessert.
