User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsLove going there for lunch and getting a slice brisket sandwich (the Best which is the large, not the Big 'N which is the small). Have never had a bad sandwich yet.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI have been eating Pok-e-Joes since they were located on 1325. I had dinner their 8-10-2008 and have never been so disappointed in my life. They are now officially a sale out, gone so commercial their is no going back. I've got better BBQ at Bill Miller. What was once an art is now not worthy of taking home for my dogs. I'm looking for a new BBQ I can brag about. Looks like Opies in Spicewood It's a real shame to have to drive 50 miles for good BBQ.

It is a shame you feel this way. Define commercial. Makes me wonder if everyone and everything in your life only gets 1 mistake and you moves on, then a month later go online to dog on them. I feel sorry you had such a bad meal or experience. Bill Miller's COME ON they are like the Furr's Cafeteria of BBQ. Pre made, frozen and shipped from San Antonio. Nothing is as bad as Miller's at least good, bad or indifferent Pokejos makes their stuff all in house. Man, pick another pokejos, there are 5 of them, and try one, at least they are all closer than 50 miles.
