I've given them more than enough chances but I won't be back. Since they moved to the new location, my sandwiches are ALWAYS wrong. It shouldn't be too difficult to make a sandwich to the customer's order. I ask for a ham sandwich with mayo, not mustard and no tomato and what do I get, mustard and mayo with tomato. It's not an issue to remove the tomato but the mustard soaks into the bread. I wish I could say that this is a small mistake but it happens every single time I've been there, what's the point of me telling them how I'd like my sandwich made if they're going to ignore my request. Sorry Deli, you've lost a local customer.

I recently went to Pecan st. deli on april 14th and i will never be back. I was getting my drink when a manager, older guy with glasses, called the drive thru worker over to make tea, although he was already holding the tea urn and tea bag. I have been in the resturant industry since i was fourteen and i have never seen such laziness in a manager. And unfortunatly its not the first time. I have witnessed the fat one from the back come into the dining room and talk while its busy. Ive seen the fat woman in the back yell at employees in front of customers, which is very unprofessional, and i have seen the tall guy in the afternoon run around like a chicken with his head cut off also yelling at employees. Obviously the employees are running the show but are greatly under-appreciated. The service is always great when I go and know many of the employees by name, however none of the managers names. I will never be back because this last visit took the cake. Management is unacceptable, and i dont know how they expect to keep the resturant open treating their employees like that...dont they know that they are the ones that really run the place??
Well..normally love the place..but not tonight. We went in and with 8 people behind the counter..we waited for over 5 minutes..and never got waited on and walked out...Not sure we are going for a return visit. We have beent here 100's of times..but only a few times since they opened in the new place....won't stay open long with that kind of service!!!

I've worked in the fast food business before and this place is awesome! I've been there a bunch of times and have always gotten the best food and the best service I could ask for (especially at their prices).
Cool, but it doesn't explain or excuse the behavior of the employees the night we went. We have been going for years...emailed the owner..never heard back..so guess they don't care and have all the business they need. Good :-)
I think that a local business that gets it wrong 1 out of "100's" of visits is a place worth supporting. That's an astonishing success rate and there's no question about it. I'm sorry you won't be back...but I pray that my business will help make up for the business they're lossing with you.
Virginia you probably received bad service because youâre a hateful person. I myself own a successful small restaurant and donât put up with brats.
