slop ! I was raised on Mexican food, this is worse than Taco Cabana !
I am a regular at Marias! The food is WONDERFUL! The prices are resonable and the staff is so nice! It's not the normal Tex-Mex cusine. It has it's own, very delicious flavor! I love the migas taco and now my new fave is the beef tostada. Both run about $2.50. Great for lunch!!
This has got to be some of the worst "Mexican food" I've ever had. When I saw that one taqco costs $2.50, I was expecting magic in my mouth. Not the case at all! My friends and I tried the pollo guisado, enchiladas, quesadilla, and the "most popular" pastor, as well as their queso. All were equally disappointing! The food looks good at first glance, but has absolutely no taste. Really, IT TASTES LIKE NOTHING AT ALL - It's like they didn't even use salt to cook it! Even their salsas which look very fresh, taste like nothing - don't know how they managed to do that, but they did. The tortillas are store bought and taste like they microwave heated. I do not understand how people rave about this place and even call it "authentic mexican food". I think Taco Cabana has more authenticity, and it's definitely better. Unless you really like bland foods, don't waste your time with this place. There are a hundred other little places that are better priced and definitely taste a whole lot better! Try Taqueria Arandas to see what a real pastor taco should taste like.
