    I have lived in Austin for over 30 years, and I have tried every Bar B Que resturant in and around Austin that there was.. at least I thought I had. My husband and our little one's decided that we wanted Bar B Que for dinner, but we did not want the same old over priced Rudy's,Bill Millers or Smokie moes. We decided to look on line to see if there were any "Local" Bar B Que joints arount. Well,loe and behold.. we found Branch Bar B Que. Well we packed up the family and headed out. When we arrived and went inside,we quickly noticed the resturant was very clean,and had that "back yard" bar b que smell. I ordered the three meat plate and split it with our girls. I must tell you, the food was excellent, the briskett, chicken and Elgin sausage were all moist,the beans and the Potatoe salad were home made too. The deserts looked great, but we were to full to get anything. The staff was great and courteous, and after sitting down we noticed that the traffic on Wells Branch was pretty bussy, but this did not keep clientel from stopping in and getting their food to go. One man even brought two ice chests to fill with his large order. I will tell you this, and this aint no lie, comming from a "Natural Born Texan." The bar b que and the sauce were eceptional, I expected spicy, but it was sweet and tangy,I couldn't get enough.
    The only suggestion if any, would be for them to bottle their sauce! They could sell alot, just like their food! Branch Bar B Que,gone are the day's of the other "Big" competitors you deffinately will have our business from now on. WE WILL DEFFINATELY will BE BACK! FOR SURE!!!

    I love this PLACE!: This has got to be one of the best BBQ places I have ever been to. Everything is made there, and always fresh! The BBQ sauce is tangy and sweet. Most other places i have been to its HOT.. They have great deals and I usually buy extra so i can take it home.
    Only thing i dont like is that they dont sell there BBQ sauce by the bottle!
