We need more cool places in Austin. Population is increasing so much but there aren't that many places to go besides restaurants and stores.

My husband and I are taking our children to see The Polar Express for the third time, it is something we look forward to every year. The children love it and so do we.

IMAX appeals to all but only has one theater.: This is one of my most remember able Austin experiences. I have seen movies before but nothing like the ones I have seen at this theater. The first time I went here I discovered it was inside of the Texas State History museum, so you can learn the history of Texas: eat at the museum café, or just watch a movie. The movies are shown in what is called IMAX, it is a movie that when you watch it surrounds you with images and sounds, makes you feel you are part of the action or looking down above it. I was taken back at my first IMAX show because I did not think such things were possible until I saw it with my own eyes. The down side is now I want to see everything in IMAX and can not wait until we can have IMAX in the homes, but until that day happens I will continue to go to this theater. The movies they show are mostly educational shows that appeal to all ages, learning is fun in IMAX. This place only has one theater so some times buying tickets a head is a good ideal.
