About:This restaurant offers traditional Tex-Mex fare all day long. Located in a mall, you generally wouldn't expect the food to be this good or the restaurant to be so popular. This is an upbeat, casual venue attracting customers of all ages; a comfortable place to relax over margaritas with your friends. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and serving standard Tex-Mex fare like Migas and Enchiladas. The house specialty is the Fajitas, complete with all the necessary trimmings; try either the Vegetarian or the Chicken/Beef Combination. Ask for the homemade habanero or green specialty sauces for your chips, they are not on the menu and they are fabulous.

    The Best Queso EVER!!! I bring it to rehearsals at my drama school all the time and it's always a big hit. Maudies has great service, is very stylish, mostly a big hit with the younger crowd. It's an austin classic for a good reason: Their food is wonderful!

    La Madre of Tex-Mex: This is the best tex-mex I've ever had put in front of me, and the Chile Con Carne is the ultimate. They have several locations around Austin, so find the one near you and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
