Very unprofessional. Unnecessarily cut open my gas tank just to remove light rust scale. Now gas tank leaks (didn't before). Not allowed to use proper boil-out equipment due to EPA violations. I do not recommend this place.
Awful experience and horrible radiator shop and very dishonest people. Please do NOT go to Sam's Radiator in Austin Texas at 830 Airport Blv to have your Radiator fix, if you don't want to get rip off and overcharge. They ripped me off with $450. Also their customer service is nasty. I am truck driver; I lost 5 days of work thanks to Sams Radiator. I had to buy a new radiator after taking back my old radiator to Sams Radiator twice, they knew from the beginning that my radiator was unfixable and they did not advice me that, and they even gave 90 days warranty. My old radiator kept leaking and my engine over heated twice. They claim that they have 15 years of experience but I seriously doubt their experience in fixing radiator and I also doubt their ability in advising their customers the right course of action. The third time I took my old radiator to Crowder Industrial Radiator, Very nice people and they were really honest with me right away. They told me that my radiator was unfixable and they pointed out for me all the stuff that the people at Sams Radiator did wrong. First of all they installed the header incorrectly and Second of all fins were separated from the tubes; these two problems alone would make the integrity of the radiator bad. Mr. Crowder also could not believe Sams Radiator warranty my radiator for 90 days. Thanks to Mr. Crowder at Crowder Industrial Radiator I am back on the road. Now I am in the process of taking Sams Radiator to court.
