User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe have been enjoying this hotel since it first opened and come back to it every year! Love the remodel! Clean, quiet and comfortable! Easy access to freeway. Perfect for activities at the Erwin Center or UT. Better than a mint on your pillow is their chocolate chip cookies!!

This place is terrible. We where at the hotel for less than two hours and our car was broken in to in the middle of broad daylight. At 2:00 a.m. the police chased everyone on our floor out of their rooms because there was domestic violence, by an off duty police officer across the hall, and he wouldn't come out of the room. So we left our rooms being escorted by police officers with shotguns. After sitting in the lobby for over an hour, management finally decided to give us another room away from the violence so we could get some sleep, which didn't happen because we were still stressed about our car being broken in to and be awaken by police officers with shotguns. Don't let the location of being near the U of T campus fool you, this isn't a safe area. Stay away for your own safety.
Last note: the car break in we think was an inside job because they told us they had the car break in incident on video camera. Which they didn't have. Because they don't have camera's in the parking lot. And they lied to the police about the car and license number. Ask yourself. Do you want to take a chance on this happening to you. Or Maybe worse. -

I was disappointed when I arrived at the hotel and discovered that it is in the process of undergoing a major renovation. The front desk told me that they are starting with the 1st floor area and the guest rooms in the summer. As a result there is no food service and the place is an eyesore. The halls and rooms certainly could use a renovating. I don't think it is right that they don't note on the reservation page that the hotel is currently undergoing major renovations while asking full price for a room. I just hit every floor in the hotel looking for a vending machine that had water, no luck they were all out. My toilet is also "running". Well that is enough complaining for one evening.
