I have been going to Dr. Lessner since moving to Austin in 1999. I randomly selected him from my insurance company's provider directory, but I could not have made a better pick. The practice has a good central location (29th & Duval) in what looks to have once been a pretty cute big old house. Dr. Lessner is very friendly and skilled to boot. I think I've had one new filling and one or two childhood fillings replaced there, and his work was painless and fast. The hygenists are also top notch, and very talkative and friendly. The gulf between Dr. Lessner's practice and the dentist I went to growing up back home is so large as to make me doubt the quality of the dental practice I went to growing up back home. Were all dentists like Dr. Lessner, I'm not sure so many people would have an aversion to going in for regular cleanings and such.
