I will never take my car to South Point Nissan again for service. This place is out for the money and thats it. I took my car in to have the clutch checked out.First of all they did not look at my car until about 1:30 in the afternoon, after I dropped it off at 7:00AM. The servive advisor lied to me and said they took a long time to check it out, when it was in the shop for only about 30 mins if that. He told me due to the smell of the clutch I needed a new clutch and flywheel at a cost of $2400. The car only has 24k miles on it. Then they wanted to charge me a $96 diagnostic fee, when it should have fallen under the warranty. I really need to find a job like that, charging $96 to smell stuff!! I refused to pay the fee and didn't. I spoke to an experienced Nissan Tech from an independant shop and he told me all I needed to do was bleed the clutch. South Point, you should be ashamed for being as dishonest as you were, trying to take people as you tried to take me. Guess what it didn't work did it!!! People do yourself a favor and get a second opinion and stay away from this place, they are rip offs!!!
No stars...they used to give superb service, but...I recently brought my car in THREE times to get something fixed. It still does not work correctly. Their service manager was not only unhelpful, but rude.
Appalling service. I had to call the service dept. while INSIDE the service dept. to get one of the many people milling around to just check me in. I only took the car there because it was under warranty but even then, they charged me up the wazoo ($70 to replace a battery on a 1.5 year old car!) for simple service. Magically, my sunroof stopped working after this visit and require two more trips to fix. Same stuff - no one helps, no loaner car, etc. Huge time waster.
On the sales side, I bought a used car here several years ago and I had to call way up the line to the sales manager to get my (paid for) tags. No one has voicemail. No one returns calls. You're on hold forever and then back at the operator who starts the whole aggravating circle again.
There are all kinds of awards plastered around this place. Makes you wonder what it would be like to get sales or service from a Nissan dealer who doesn't have a "wall of fame".
And I'm a huge Nissan fan! Of the 5 cars I've owned in my life, three were Nissan. Out of 25 years of car ownership, 19 were Nissan.
Go elsewhere... Round Rock Nissan has treated me right.

South Point Nissan is horrible. Their gm is an idiot. I've owned 6 nissans in the last 12 years and I can assure you that I will NOT buy anything else from the monkeys at southpoint. I went in for service and my truck was not ready when promised, but they left it open and it smelled like someone had sex in it. There's an old man there named bobby who always treats me well. everyone else is horrible, and i do mean everyone.
