User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsKIRSHA TOOK ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY & IT WAS THE BEST!: I had never been to Macaroni Grill and it was the best Italian food I had ever had. Get the Pasta Milano it has Bowtie pasta, grilled chicken, sundried tomatoes and mushrooms in a roasted garlic cream sauce.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent Service, Excellent Food!: My girlfriend and I went to Macaroni Grill for her birthday dinner. It had been the second time I have been there, and both times we had great service and great food.
This last time we were served by Tristen. She was a very talkative, upbeat server. She always made sure our drinks were full, gave us plenty of time to decide on what to order, suggested a few items herself, and checked on us after we had received our food to make sure everything was to our liking. She even displayed the deserts to us; everything in a very professional manner.
When I go to tip, I usually give under 10% (or nothing if necessary) if the service is bad. If it's good I usually aim for the 10 to 15% range. This time I jumped straight to 20% and then even gave her another dollar to round it up to $10. I am generally a cheap person, so for me to tip someone $10 you KNOW they had to be good :)

Wow, you're right, you really are cheap! I definitely would watch out for waiters spitting on my food if I were you! What an embarassment for your poor girlfriend.
