    Never to return to the old style of movie theatres: Once you go to the Alamo Drafthouse theatres, you will wonder why you haven't been to this style of movie theatre before! Comfy chairs, railing before you to order and put your food upon that you can order (and not just soda and popcorn!), and an environment that is truly conducive to having a great evening.

    A great place for families to go to, as well as with a date - or, even just spending some time with one or some of your best friend(s).

    You'll not regret going; you'll only regret that you have waited so long!!!

    We go as much as possible!: The first time we went to the Drafthouse we thought, " Hm this idea is a little strange but it just might catch on... " We love it so much that we've seen more movies at any one of the 4 locations in Austin than in any of the other regular theaters. The atmosphere, the quirky preshows, the throwback clips, the drinks (the drinks!!!!) . What's not to love? You get to sit around with your beer, get a snack without getting up once and not miss a moment of the movie. Almost every server we've had has been friendly ; asking us if we'd been to the Drafthouse - though its obvious that some of them should know us by name by now! Its as comfortable as being at a friend's house and not worrying about a thing. There's more than enough to choose from, Downtown, South, North and Northwest locations leave no reason not to visit at least one!
