User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDan's has one of the best burgers in Austin. I would have to call it a tie between Dan's, Fran's, and Nau's Pharmacy. If you're looking for a great, huge, juicy burger than these places can't be beat. Forget Fuddruckers and Red Robin. They can't hold a candle to any of these local Austin favorites.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsANOTHER 1 BITES THE DUST. Another American business that is. I've went to this Dans for 25 years. I've always expected what we all refer to as "grease burgers" , which means flavorful juicy hamburgers. Well no more. It seems as if Dans is now employing people who think hamburger meat should be charred to the the point of dryness, I don't know maybe they think its going in a taco or something. I was disappointed for three times in a row hoping the first times were merely an aberrationbut I guess not. The burgers are still OK , but no longer the thick juicy tasty ones that have been here for years and years......... I prefer going to Huts and will no longer waste my effort at this establishment anymore. Management WAKE UP and train your employees right and supervise them until they learn the Dans WAY.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HEARTY BURGER YOU GOT IT BEEN GOING THERE FOR 15 YRS EVEN THE CHICKEN BASKETS ARE GOOD
