About:Central Market is not a supermarket for the indecisive. Among the produce section's 18,000 square feet are over 500 varieties of ultra-fresh fruits and vegetables from around the world: baby-eggplant, arugula, gold medallion onions, maroon carrots;these are the unique ingredients that inspire chefs and make great food.     It is the market not the cafe that is a splendor to behold. Have yet to find another place as good as the market is. Never ate at the cafe, but had salad after salad from the salad bar. I dream of returning to Austin just to go to Central Market again.

    Wow, I can't beieve people actually think of this place as a restaurant The food is bland while making a poor attempt at being "trendy" and healthy. It's laughable just how many people go and sit on the deck here, sipping wine an paying through the nose for average sandwhiches. Your sitting outside a grocery store, come on, really?

    It does not open at 7am. It opens at 8am. Jeez, I hate to look it up on-line, drive all the way over there, and then it's not open for another hour. Fix your published hours!

    But the food is always good. I like the menu in the restaurant, and, specifically, I go there to buy their home-made, multi-grain english muffins.
