I have been to both County Line on the Hill and on the Lake and this restaurant is far superior. Their menu is much more expansive and their sides are terrific. Not only is the BBQ amazing, but the Mac & Cheese is worth the trip over to the Hill alone.
Love It Love it Love it!: I have only been to County Line on the Hill once in like 1988, but I still remember how good it was. It was honestly the best BBQ dinner I've ever had in a restaurant. It was good in every way and I've recommended it a dozen times to people I knew who were heading to Austin. Good side dishes and great bread as well as the BBQ and I had the sampler plate so I could try it all. Most places that have good BBQ, have mediocre side dishes, but County Line puts quality and great taste into everything they serve and I'm picky about my BBQ. I certainly intend to go there again if I ever get the chance to visit Austin again. Way to go County Line.
