i just wanted to say i had the most awful service at Pat Painters. Celeste helped me and she was very cold and uncaring. I had started to cry and she didn't even try to comfort me. dealing with cancer was very hard. She just stood there like I was wasting her time . I wish the lady with the purple hair waited on me. Her client was smiling and by what I could see she really cared about her client. If I need to ever go back I will asked for the purple haired lady not the sourpuss
Wow! I could not believe my eyes when I was told to read the below review by the person who referred me to Bonnie at Pat Painters. I totally understand you being upset with Bonnie and I am sure she was embarrassed and didn't know how to recover. Hopefully, she has apologized because the Bonnie I know would apologize. Most people who are customers of Bonnie's have a much more positive and fun experience. I guess what bothers me the most about your review is that you implied that Bonnie was on drugs and she was an uneducated idiot. She doesn't take drugs and to you she may be an uneducated idiot but there is NO ONE more understanding and educated about what a women and her family is going through when it come to cancer and breast cancer in particular. Again, I totally understand you being upset, you and your family are going through a lot right now and what Bonnie said, well, was a mistake. To Err is Human, to Forgive is Divine! Here is my review of my experience with Bonnie at Pat Painters:
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2009. Having survived another type of cancer 19 years ago, I was no stranger to the protocol. The one thing I hadn't experienced before was the hair loss from chemo. So, along with purchasing many colored bandanas I decided I also needed a wig. A friend recommended that I visit Bonnie at Pat Painter's Wigs. That turned out to be a treasure trove of information, fun, and one really hot wig! Bonnie is also a survivor. She and the other staff understand that for most people who enter their doors this is not high up on their list of fun things to deal with. For me, however, it was the most fun I've had since being diagnosed. My nature is to be silly, so Bonnie and I bonded immediately when she had my whole family, to include my husband, trying on wigs. I was a little disappointed when Bonnie shaved my head that I didn't look like Demi Moore, in GI Jane however, I now have Lisa Rinna's hair, and I love it! Bonnie also introduced me to the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas. I look forward to meeting these fine folks who help cancer patients at a fund raiser/happy hour this week. I've always been about giving back to my community, and now I have a new focus. All of this because of one person's recommendation! Thank you Pat Painter's for having an amazingly professional and caring staff. Ever grateful, Shannont09
Celeste is great and she has made a BIG difference.
Since chemo, I now prefer wearing a wig permanently.
