About:For a change of pace from the traditional downtown scene, take the short trek up to the Capitol City Comedy Club. Enjoy an evening of laughs at this wonderful bar in North Austin. It presents stand-up, local and national comedians who put on a show for everyone's enjoyment. The club also sponsors the annual "Funniest Person in Austin" contest. Cover charge varies so you may want to call ahead. Reservations are recommended.

    This club is awesome! The bartenders are great, the food is delicious, and the entertainment is always top-notch. Go there all the time and I've never had a bad experience.

    I love coming here. They do not always get the top talent but it is always fun.
