We really enjoyed this place.
Yes, the staff is made up of students but the people that weighted on us when we went were very professional and eager to please. The menu is limited to a couple choices but we have fun trying new things. This is a very reasonable and fun way to try some hoity toidy dishes served by a man with a hanky on his arm.
I'm still paying for this dinner.: My husband and I ate at Ventana last night. The waitstaff was pushy and inexperienced. Ours spilled water all over our table, then spilled salad dressing. When the calamari arrived I thought it was a joke. It looked and smelled just like fish sticks and had absolutely no flavor. My crab cakes tasted like a dude from dairy queen, mainly because the sauce they topped them with was just mayo. After we got home last night I started throwing up and I haven't stopped. Please to not waste your time. It is the worst restaurant ever.
