This place is well known for its prime rib, and for good reason. Itâs fantastic! I could eat here two to three times a week and never get tired of it. Itâs worth the short ride just outside of the city limits.
Good food for around here: Del Rio doesn't have many restaurants that you could call "date" restaurants. Cripple Creek is a great one for dates, anniversaries, etc. It is a little pricey, but the steaks are good and so are the shrimp. The service is also very good.
Labeled as expensive but isnt: Cripple Creek is a great place to eat not only for the food but for the service!! It's mislabeled as expensive but isn't more than about a couple of dollars more than Applebee's or Chili's...the other day i spent 45 dollars at Applebee's for lunch when i could of had a much better meal at Cripple Creek

The last time I was in Cripple Creek was 20+ years ago when I lived in Del Rio, and it was fantastic! Glad to hear it's still good.
