Free service call and estimate, even if you choose not to fix anything? Nearly half the price of other companies? Sounded too good to be true. Wasn't sure if they were real or scammers. There's gotta be a catch, I though. However, I didn't want to spend nearly $6,000 for replacement that the other guys were pushing (and pushing hard). Autumn recommended repair instead of replacement (my unit was almost 7 years old) for about $1,300. Somewhat uneasily, we chose Autumn. They just left the house. Upstairs is cool now after days of being unbearably hot. They were prompt and courteous. Even vacuumed the area they walked on. And they gave me a free 1 year check-up service contract. Every 6 months, they come out and check out the system for free. Better yet, they will call me to set up date/time. I asked for quotes for replacement just to compare prices. Nearly half of what the other company quoted. It's too early to fall in love with them. I want to make sure their work holds up in the long run (2 yr on labor & 5 yr parts warranty), but so far, I am very very very very happy with what I paid and what I got. I think I found a good honest HVAC guy. I just need to find a good honest auto mechanic now.
Same thing happend to me....scheduled an appointment and received a call on the day of the service to tell me that they have to cancel my appointment becuase they have too many customers with broken AC and can't get to me. I was told that they will keep my job and call me back in July. I'd made the appointment on 6/16 and the service date was suppose to be 6/22. Needless to say, I will not use this company anymore or bother with them when they call back in July.
Had an appointment and even took the day off from work to be here. They called about the time that they were supposed to show up only to tell me that they can't make it but they would like to keep my number on file and call me back next month. Not sure why they take appointments if they can't make it out.....just a little frustrating when this happens. Probably a good company to work with but the scheduling dept. could use some help it seems.
