    Grew up in Plainview, so I might be somewhat partial, but Spudnuts are absolutely worth driving out of your way for. Half of the reason I go back into that part of the country is to ascertain some Spuddies. I'd take a dozen of these over some Krispy Kremes any day of the week.

    I live 5 hours from The Spudnut Shop in Plainview, however, I grew up in a little town 30 minutes from Plainview called Cotton Center and still have family and friends there. When I go see family there I ALWAYS go to get cherry spuddies. They are absolutely the best in the world. One dozen cherry spuddies, a tall glass of cold milk - ranks right up there with sex. Haven't found another place that makes spuddies like Spudnut Shop in Plainview. Anytime I'm within 50 miles of Plainview in the a.m. you can bet I'll have my cherry spuddies.
