I also went to this salon based mostly on written reviews. I LOVE it. My hair stylist is Kippin...she rocks. I am not one to change salons or try stylists...I have moved 9 hours to Lubbock and knew no one...big step for me. I love the atmosphere and the prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend the services at Bijou.

WONDERFUL salon. We just moved to Lubbock and I chose Bijou based on the good reviews I found on this website. My stylist, Melissa, was amazing. She was confident, supportive, and helpful in finding a new style for my hair -- I've had the same style for 10+ years! I LOVE the cut and color. The atmosphere is nice -- modern and relaxed. I recommend this place to everyone -- it's great :)

I love to go to Bijou.
1. It's an Aveda Salon, so they use quality products on your hair.
2. It's in the heart of the Depot District, so the people who work there are cool and hip, but they are quite diverse in age, gender, look, etc.
3. They keep up with the styles and go to hair shows in NY, Vegas, etc.
4. It's probably the best salon in Lubbock.
5. It's close to Tech and downtown.
6. It's very affordable.
7. It's clean and its decor is bright and contemporary.
