    I remember eating there in the '70s as a boy. I am now nearly 50 and I still remember Ms Allen serving up great fried chicken. I have moved to Michigan long ago. But, I am visiting there after many a year and look forward to reliving the best "pitch 'till ya win" place anywhere.

    Awwesome place. A local in there told me "if you leave here hungry, that's your fault." It is so true, they bring something close to 7 or 8 side items, and then comes the chicken! There is no menu, and one is not needed. Service was awesome, if a bowl or plate is empty, it does not stay that way long. There are a number off resauratns that put "Family" in their name, but the Allen's say family the way it was said in the 50's. Definately recommend if you are in Sweetwater, awesome family restaurant!

    Got to say it is the best place to eat in Sweetwater. There Cobbler is the best. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I am planning to take my family when they come down.
