We just moved back to Lubbock and Bonus Burger has the BEST onion rings we have found anywhere! The Jumbo Burgers are great also. If you're in the mood for a great home-made burger...go to Bonus Burger and you will not be dissapointed!

I urge you to drop into Bonus Burger at lunchtime. The place is jam-packed, the kitchen a frenzy of activity, cars form a chain around the tiny building; the atmosphere is a bit frenetic, busy, and full of satisfied burger lovers. I don't know how they do it, it obviously has the basic elements of every other "Mom and Pop" greasy burger joint in Lubbock (and we are blessed with more than our share of good ones), but it is one of the best if not the best of an excellent and crowded field of independent burger restaurants. Onion rings are hand battered, fries are delicious, the burgers are outstanding and service is very fast. Hey, dozens of people patronizing this overcrowded little business at lunch can't ALL be wrong, can they?
