User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI have been going to this "restaurant" since I was a little girl...if you think it's dirty now, you should have been there last summer!! The chairs at that time were, torn and worn out!! You couldn't find a chair that wasn't torn much less CLEAN!! The whole restaurant is run down, smells and even feels "greasy". Wonder when the last time it was washed and bleached from the floor to the ceiling, painted and sanitized!! The only thing missing is the fly strip above the tables... The plate size pancake is the only "safe" thing I would order...
The "hotel" isn't much better!!!!! But at least it does get cleaned...

I came through this town a few weeks back,and stopped at The Hickmans Restaurant. I found it to be dirty, and boring. The rolls tasted as if they had been reused and the service was terrible. I got something called a Texas buger. Even though is was big the bread was burnt and the meat was not cooked all the way. The food was over priced considering how it tasted. Everyone was fat and just sat around staring at people. My advice, stay away from there, whatever you do.

Great texas roadhouse!! Texas burgers and homemade bread, texas chicken fried steak, texas tea, wonderful specials. Great place to grab a bite of simple country cooking in a small town.

My friends often go deer hunting clost to Aspermont. They went there this last weekend. I advised them against the Hickmans hotel and restaurant. Told them how nasty it was but they went anyway. Guess what...they won't be back anytime soon. What a nasty restaurant.
