User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI LOVE the chicken tacos. I hate Mexican food, but LOVE this place. A hole in the wall that has the BEST food. Great chips, great drink and next to a charming antique store. The service, well.. be prepared to be at their mercy, the girls are not very attentive if they don't know you. But overall, a five star rating.

This place is way overrated. I ordered steak enchiladas which were drowned in an overpowering red sauce (couldn't really taste anything but red sauce on my plate save the sides).
I went here expecting a family atmosphere, but it is attached to a really busy tavern/hole in the wall bar. I felt really uncomfortable taking my kids in initially. The place is also in a run down neighborhood. This place is all hype. Save yourself about 30-40 bucks and go somewhere else.Comments (1)

It is obvious you are not from here. You want a run down neighborhood, go downtown to segundo. L & J you have the best mini tacos and the most awesome chile de arbol sauce!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I have taken my very young kiddo there and never had a problem at all. They served him and he was happy. We love it! No one bothers anyone else.)
