User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy husband planned a surprise night at the Elegante to celebrate life. On 3-3-06 I had aan emergency triple bypass.(I was 43 years old. In 2008 I got pnumonia that went septic, I was in a coma for 21 days and in the hospital for a month. My husband never missed a visit and was always there for me thru all of it. On November 3rd of last year, I had a heart attack. My husband sensed something was wrong when I didn't answer the phone. He came home and found me barely alive.
We went to the Elegante to celebrate our lives. After eating room service, my husband and I got food poisioning. The ambulance took us to the hospital. No one would help us and it turned into a nightmare - never got to use the jacuzzi or sleep in the bed. I wrote them asking for some reaction or a discount or even just an apology and received none.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsFour star hotel?! HA! The employees seem like they don't care about anything, the rooms smell moldy, and the breakfast was crappy. The only thing I will go to the Elegante for is to go to the Oasis bar. Maybe Mr. Bushman needs to stop worrying about putting the 10 commandments all over town and start paying attention to his establishments and customers.

It has the potential to be at least a 4 star hotel if it were properly managed by someone who actually cared to make it so. Upper management are "absentee" and only interested in making THEIR paychecks, leaving the responsibities to the incompetent, uncaring, UNprofessionals! They do not care about their staff but will keep the ditzy, out of control, wimpy F/B manager and the sycophant supervisor who repeatedly behaves like a child--screaming/cursing at staff and/or customers without any reprimand whatsoever. Any decent employee they did have, left when they were denied well-deserved promotions, sick of carrying the weight of others who did not do their jobs, psychotic supervisors and/or managers who are oblivious or apathetic. I expected so much more from such a "high-class" establishment and was thoroughly disappointed. If they don't care about the staff--then the staff won't care about you or great customer service so much when they hate their jobs. Alas--Mr. Bushman seems oblivious or maybe he just doesn't care either?
