I took my family to Wet n' Wild today. Advertised on the web site was a fireworks show late that night and the park was to stay open until 10 p.m. I started to sprinkle for about 10 minutes and there was about 3 bolts of lightning. I expected the pool to be shut down for about 30 minutes or so as the storm passes (as we all know El Paso weather changes in the blink of an eye). When it finally did begin to dissipate, I approached the first ride (my family and I paid the $65 to enter at 5:45 p.m.). It was 6:30, and the life guard said that the park was closed. I approached a manager as we paid the money, rented a small locker (about the size of two shoe boxes) and hadn't even been in the water. No refund was offered, and the manager said would give me comp tickets that I could use later. I told him that the tickets would do me know good as I was deploying. He said there was nothing he could do. I was thoroughly disgusted. Not only did I waste my money, but I wasted some of the little time I have left with my family. Reccommend not going here. Not a family friendly place it seemed anyway, the lot looked like a trailer park and there were tatooed dudes everywhere with coolers of beer getting wasted. A different flavor, but if that is your thing ... I'll be giving away the comp tickets given to me. I recommend not wasting your time.

I totally agree w/ Army Dude. Wet n'Wild used to be a family fun water park. However over the years it has turned out to be nothing but. Children & teenagers will cut in line. They are rude and very disrespectful. The adults or parents of these children are getting wasted and before long will want to start a fight. Sorry to hear you had to waste your $. I never recommend this place ever.

wet n wild is so cool, I went to a family reunion at the water park all the grownups just chilled while my uncle bbq'd we had the tv to watch the soccer match, I had brought some beer. I cooled off by going down one of their rides. And of course my 4 yr old loved it.
